Subject: Announcement of Scotland Pakistan Scholarship Scheme for Young
Women and Girls 2023-24
I am pleased to notify that British Council, in collaboration with the Scottish Government has
launched this scheme only for female students enrolled in bachelor’s and Master’s Programs, in the
fields of education, agriculture and food security, sustainable energy, health sciences, and STEM
(STEM is only applicable at Master’s level) and all areas of critical importance to Pakistan.

This scholarship scheme is administered directly by the British Council, which will facilitate award-
holders with the following incentives:
 Tuition fees for bachelor’s or master’s courses in eligible fields
 University hostel costs (where applicable)
 Travel to and from home to university two times a year for students staying in on-campus
hostels

Young Women with disabilities, from rural areas and/or minority groups are encouraged to apply.
