Bridge Course

Session: 2023-24
(Bachelor of Technology)

DATE:
12/09/2023 to 20/09/2023

School of Engineering &

Technology(IIMTU Meerut)
Bridge Course:
Bridge courses serve as a vital foundation for first-year B.Tech students,
providing them with essential knowledge and skills in subjects such as
mathematics, physics, chemistry, computers, and English. These courses act as
a crucial link between the students' prior educational background and the
rigorous demands of their engineering curriculum.

The significance of bridge courses lies

in ensuring that students are well-
prepared to excel in their B.Tech studies
and adapt to the academic challenges
they will encounter in these core
subjects. By bridging the gap between
their prior knowledge and the
requirements of their degree program,
these courses empower students to
build a strong educational foundation
and set them on a path toward
academic success and professional
growth.

We can consider these courses as the

prerequisite for Engineering first year.
