THE VERB TO BE

The verb to be can be an auxiliary verb or a main verb in English.

Be as a main verb in the Simple Present when is conjugated can be am/are/is


according to the subject.

AFFIRMATIVE NEGATIVE

USES OF THE VERB BE

When expressed as figures, the last two letters of the written word are added to
the ordinal number:

In names for kings and queens, ordinal numbers are written in Roman numbers. In
