Part 1: social interaction
1. When was the last time you were sick? What were your
symptoms?
Well, to be honest, I was sick 2 weeks ago, specifically petechial fever
which is expanding surrounding us and specifically in Ha Noi. My first
symptoms were headache, high temperature suddenly, and my body
could not do anything even stand for over 3 munites because the muscles
in my body were so hurt. Fortunately, after 3 days, I felt better, I was not
high temperature instead of but my skin was starting to get red rashes.
Progressively, they also disappeared and I came back to my normal life.
2. How often do you use plant-based medicine?
Well, I almost have never used plant-based medicine since I was born.
To be honest, every time I was sick or had some problems with my
health my mom almost bought modern medicine for me. And from
myself when see my grandmother drink this medicine, it seems difficult
to drink so I am very scared of it.
3. Do you think you have a healthy diet? Why or why not?
Well, I think I have a healthy diet. Because now I am having a healthy
lifestyle. For all of my meals, I often concentrate on eating more
nutritious foods such as fruits, vegetables, and meat. Besides that, I cut
back on bad fats, and fast foods which are not good for my health. and in
addition, I spend more than 3 times of week doing exercise that helps me
control weight, avoid diseases, and so on.
Part 2: topic development
1. Talk about the topic “advantage of traditional medicine’’ in 2
minutes
2. Talk for 2 minutes about "the effects of good sleeping habits on the
brain".
You know sleep is very significant in our lives and good sleeping habits
can strongly affect our brain. Firstly, this connection between sleep and
brain health shows us there is potential to prevent and treat brain
diseases by improving sleep and circadian rhythms. When we sleep, the
brain totally changes function. It becomes almost like a kidney,
removing waste from the system. Besides, thanks to good sleep, they
have more energy and productivity which helps diminish cognition and
concentration. Many aspects of a healthy lifestyle can help attention,
starting with sleep and exercise. When you exercise, you increase the
availability of brain chemicals that promote new brain connections,
reduce stress, and improve sleep. And when we sleep, we reduce stress
hormones that can be harmful to the brain, and we clear out proteins that
injure it. In addition, sleep also helps us consolidate the memories we
want to preserve, transferring them from transiently accessible memories
to those that can be recalled years later.

had some medicine.

When it was?
What exactly happened (what your symptoms were, how you
felt, what the doctor asked you to do, etc.)
What medicine you took? How often you took it?
How long it took you to recover?

Answer:
Last week, when I woke up after a nightmare, my body had
changed. My first feeling was a pounding /ˈpaʊn.dɪŋ/ headache, it
made me very uncomfortable and I imagined /ɪˈmædʒ.ɪn/ needles
stabbed /stæb/ deep into my head. Besides that, my body
temperature was higher than on other days, which I guessed may
be fever. But that morning I had a significant lesson so I tried to
take all medicines I had such as oresol, panadol extra, and effer-
paralmax and put them in my bag. While I was driving to
school, my legs became so hurt, I could feel acute /əˈkjuːt/ pain in
each muscle even I could not stand long time or sit. After I had
breakfast, I drank an antipyretic and lots of oresol which
compensates /ˈkɑːm.pən.seɪt/ for the body’s electrolytes /iˈlek.trə.laɪt/. But
in the end, the temperature still did not drop so I decided to stop
the lesson and went home. The next day, my boyfriend and I
went to the hospital for a blood test. Fortunately, the
consequence was okay, a doctor told me should drink more
water and flow body temperature, and take medicine as directed.
After three days I completely became health and free eat
everything I like.
