With reference to your application and subsequent interview you had with us, we are
pleased to offer you an employment career as Executive – Talent Acquisition with
Edify Technologies India Private Limited. We would like you to join us on or before
22nd August 2022 reporting to the following address or over email to the Human
Resources Manager (samiksha@edifytech.com).

Your appointment will be effective on your joining date. If you do not confirm your
acceptance of this offer or date for joining, this offer will be withdrawn by 11th August
2022.

To confirm your acceptance and receive an appointment letter, you are required to
communicate the acceptance of offer by signing and returning the duplicate copy of
this offer letter and Annexure(s) as confirmation by a signed and scanned copy over
email.

Please read the important details, terms and conditions below carefully, including your
compensation and benefits detailed on Annexure A and B.
1. You will be reporting to and working on the responsibilities assigned by the
Reporting Manager directly.
2. Your appointment would be confirmed only after the mandatory background
check, as per the Company policy, until then this offer is temporary and holds
good to continue with compensation as mentioned in Annexure A.

3. Your compensation package will be as in Annexure A attached herewith.
However, the structure of your compensation plan may be altered / changed from
time to time in line with the compensation policy and practices of the company.
4. Your base of operation will be in our Chennai Office at above address and may
be shifted to any of our office premises in future, on need basis and intimated to
you.
5. You will be required to work as per standard Indian Office hours and also may
be at different timings, (as per the office hours of United States of America, if
required on client’s requirements) which may be prescribed by the company
from time to time.
6. Your position may be changed at the discretion of the company depending on
the work and recommendations from the Human Resource Manager or as per
company policies from time to time.
7. As per company policy, you will be on probation for a period of 3 months from
the date of joining. Your confirmation and continuation in the services is subject
to satisfactory performance based on performance appraisal every month during
the Probation period. During probation period and after confirmation as a
regular employee, you may terminate your service at any time by giving 60 days’
notice if on a project or 45 days in other conditions. However due to exigencies
of business or tasks handled the company may at its sole discretion reject the
salary in lieu of notice and ask you to serve the entire or part of the notice period.
You shall not be deemed to have been relieved of your services except upon issue
of a relieving letter by the company to that effect.
8. You will be retiring from the services of the company on attaining the age of 58
years.
9. Upon your resignation or retirement from the company or termination of your
services, you are required to return all assets and property of the company such
as ID card, electronic gadgets, documents, machines, data, files, and books,
including but not limited to leased properties during the working period.
10. Your individual compensation is strictly between yourself and the company. It
has been determined based on numerous factors such as job experience, skill set,
professional merit, etc. This information and any changes made therein shall be
treated as personal and confidential.
11. Any and all of the terms and conditions of service may be modified or changed
at the company’s discretion and the benefits outlined / mentioned in the

Annexure B are subjected to change as per company’s policies from time to time.
12. You may notify the company of any changes in your personal information within
7 days and you are deemed responsible for it.
13. You will be required to remain medically fit as per company’s policy during the
employment period for being the services of the company.
14. During your service with the company, you will be expected to devote your
whole time and attention to the company’s affairs and refrain from directly or
indirectly engaging yourself in any other business or affair.
15. Information pertaining to the operations, training and intellectual property is
confidential and you will be signing a non-disclosure agreement on the joining
date. If you are bound by any confidentiality agreement with a previous
employer, you must notify the company and indemnify the company against any
breach thereof. Any breach in terms and conditions of employment may result in
termination of your services without notice or compensation.
16. If any information furnished by you in your application for employment or
during the selection process is found at any point of time during your
employment to be incorrect or false, and/or if you have suppressed material
information regarding your qualifications and experience, the company may
terminate your services without notice or compensation.
17. You will be required to abide by all the rules and regulations of the company
which are in force from time to time and the company shall have the right to vary
or modify any or all the above terms and conditions which shall be binding on
you.
18. On the date of joining, you will be required to bring the following documents in
original for verification and copies for submission to records or share in email.
a. Scanned copies of your educational certificates & mark sheets of your
highest qualification.
b. Scanned copy of your relieving letter and experience certificates from your
previous employers.
c. One passport size colored photograph (or a scanned copy for ID)
d. Salary certificate or pay slip of previous employer for 3 months before
relieving, if experienced.
e. Scanned copy of your PAN Card
In case any one of the above-mentioned documents/certificates are not produced on the
date of joining; we will not be able to proceed further with your appointment.

ANNEXURE B
COMPENSATION COMPONENTS IN DETAIL
PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL

Basic Pay:
This is a fixed monthly component of your salary and is taxable.

HRA:
House Rent Allowance (HRA) is given to the extent of 50% of your Basic Pay and is
taxable, unless the rental receipt or the deductible House Loan acceptable as per the
Government policies for the given amount is provided to the company. Or the
difference between the allowable HRA based on Basic Pay and the Actual rental receipt
provided as per Government policy applicable from time to time is taxable.

Conveyance Allowance:
This is a taxable allowance in your salary and does not warrant the production of
any bills.

Supplementary Allowance:
This is a taxable allowance in your salary, covering Medical allowance, Educational
allowance and other Special allowances specific to the nature of work.

Flexible Company Plan:


This benefit is given to the maximum extent of 10% of Basic Pay of employees based on
the Level of employment and performance of the Business unit in the company they are
attached with and company policy applicable from time to time and it is taxable.

Performance Pay:
In case your Business Unit achieves the Set Targets, there would be an Additional
Performance incentive as per company’s policy. The company reserves all rights on the
amount to pay at the end of every quarter and it is taxable.

Employee Health Benefits:
Upon employment confirmation company covers the employee along with its
dependents (Spouse & upto two children) under group health Insurance for a Sum of
Rs.3,00,000 per year.

Joining Bonus:
This is a taxable component and will be paid to the employee after completing three
months from the date of joining, provided we receive a clear Background Check report.

Disclaimer:
In case company has paid any joining bonus, any relocation expenses or any loan or
assistance or any other sum apart from usual monthly wages, these are refundable to
the company in case employee leaves the employment of the company in less than one-
year time. The money is refundable by last day of the employment and before company
issues relieving letter to the employee.
