Certification of the Engineer:
‘The Taking Over Certificate is issued in relation to the agreement made on 03" November 2017 entered into between the
Employer and the Contractor for the Construction, Completion and Maintenance of the Main Contract Works for the above
mentioned project, namely, “AVALON TOWER” 35+G+16+ROOF HOTEL TOWER on Plot No. JVCL3RMRHO06 at Jumeirah
Village Circle, Dubal. UAE.
In accordance with Clause 48.1 Part 1 of the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Works of Civil Engineering Construction (Fourth
Edition 1987) reprinted in 1992 with further amendments applicable for the above project, we hereby certify that on
(05/12/2020, the Contractor has completed his obligations to execute and complete the works therein.
Please note the following general points and further note that the pending activities as indicated below shall be fulfilled by
the Main Contractor in accordance with the conditions of contract within 60 days4roin the date of this TOC.
‘All works have been completed in accordance with the Contract Agreement, Specifications and Drawings.
All snag items have been completed to the satisfaction of the Owner and Consultant, except for those indicated below.
{All MEP works have been tested and commissioned satisfactorily, except for those indicated below.
All relevant as-built drawings and associated catalogues as well as guarantees and maintenance certificates must be
‘Submitted by the Contractor as per operator and authority requirements
Particular Conditions:
‘Any waterproofing defects or seepage issues at Basement Level including floors and walls to be rectified by the
Contractor within 14 days of notice by the Employer/Consultant.
‘The Contractor shall cooperate with the Employer forall pending snag items, within the Contractors SHope"of Contract
Works, as notified by the Employer within the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
Final coat of paint to be applied at guest rooms subject to mutual agreement between the Employer and the Contractor
within the OLP.
Deep Cleaning to be conducted subject to mutual agreement between the
