• Use MS Word to prepare Exercise Solution.
• You may consult tutorials and videos if the concept is not clear.
• Your submitted exercise will not be considered/counted if:

▪ It does not open, or the file is corrupt.
▪ It is copied (partial or full) from any source (websites, forums, students, etc.)

Learning Outcome:

After completing this exercise, you shall be able to learn how to:

• Find the right jobs on Upwork according to your relevant skills.


• Write a cover letter (proposal) perfectly for a job.
• Grab clients by using an effective cover letter (proposal).
Problem Statement

Different jobs are posted on the Upwork Freelance platform daily. You are supposed to search for the latest
job that matches and relates to your skills (such as graphic design, content writing, digital marketing, or any
other of your choice). The job you select must be posted by a buyer who has previously hired at least one
freelancer, and the current job must have zero (0) interviews. For the job you have chosen, you are supposed
to write a compelling cover letter (proposal) to get the job.

Task 1: (2 Marks)

Attach a screenshot of the job you've selected after finding it based on the required criteria. Also, a
screenshot of the buyer's hiring history is required.

Task 2: (8 Marks)

You are required to write a cover letter (proposal) that includes the following tasks:

1. Formal Greetings with the client and introduction of yourself. (2 Marks)


2. Explain why client should hire you. (2 Marks)
3. Share your field relevant experience. (2 Marks)
4. Close your letter (proposal) in a formal manner. (2 Marks)

Requirements:

MS Word file with the following item(s):


a) Attach Screenshots of Task-01.
b) Write Answer (in words) for Task-02.

• You’re not required to create an account on freelance platform to complete this exercise.
• Watch video lectures 94 & 95 before attempting the exercise.
• Plagiarized content or content copied from other trainees or online sources shall not be accepted.
• Be submitted in MS Word format only.

How to submit solution file on LMS?
