6 Steps to Fix Zoom Not Connecting Issues

First – test your online speed (https://fast.com or https://www.speedtest.net). Is it fast

enough for Zoom video conferencing? You will need at least 2 Mbps upload and 2 Mbps
download.

Assuming that nothing is wrong with the Zoom service itself, here is the quickest way to
troubleshoot and fix Zoom not connecting errors:

1. Check your network connection by opening a browser and ensure that you can access
https://zoom.us.

2. Restart your modem, router and device you are running Zoom on – computer, smartphone.
( This is the solution for Zoom meeting password entered correctly but still says incorrect
error)
3. Try to join from the browser:

Go to https://zoom.us and click join meeting on the top right

Put in meeting ID and click join

4. Move closer to the Wi-Fi router or, better yet, use a wired Ethernet connection if
possible.
5. Move around till you get better cellular coverage, if no other connections are available.
6. Check if your ISP is having temporary issues.
