business operations. We're hiring a Senior Python Engineer to join our platform
engineering team. This group is responsible for our end-to-end platform, which includes
innovating our customer-focused web application and advancing our developer
suite. You will design, build, and maintain Python libraries and services our automation
engineers use to integrate and log valuable insights into our digital workers (built with
technologies like RPA Framework and Thoughtful’s internal tools). These tools enable a
community of developers across the globe to create unique AI Worker use cases,
contributing to a more robust and powerful offering for our customers. Join us to

Requirements

• Quick to pick up new technologies and stay updated with industry trends

• 5+ years of deep expertise in building developer tools and Python libraries

o Experience in a collaborative engineering team

o Experience contributing to open-source developer tooling, with an instinct

for good product design

o Experience with back-end with well-documented APIs

o Unit testing in PyTest or similar

o Deployment, performance tuning, monitoring, and logging

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate
complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Exceptional programming skill, rapidly turning tickets into functionality with an

eye for high-quality code and documentation
 • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

Nice-to-have

• Experience with launching/maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS

• Experience in building developer tooling from scratch within the Python

community

• Experience with RPA Framework or similar automation frameworks, Docker,

AWS Lambda, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation

• Experience with performance tuning, security, or production support for high-

availability systems, ensuring scalability and reliability
