NOTICE:
The local safety recommendations must be observed. On principle, the maintenance work can be performed
with the load connected. Pay attention to the security of personnel !
To perform the items 1 to 1.7 the system should run in normal operation. These items serve for the recording
of the actual condition. The safety of the load has to be taken into account. Possibly, the checks have to be
perfomed only partially with the load connected.
Depending on the system type, individual items may be omitted or additional, under item 8....8.3, may be
added.

1. VISUAL CHECK (Actual condition)

1.1 Access to the system OK

1.2 Room temperature OK

1.3 Ventilation of the room:

· Fresh air OK
· Exhaust air OK

1.4 Ventilation of the system:

· Admission of air unhindered OK
· Fan in operation OK
· Fan noise OK
1.5 Cleanness:
· Internal
· Filter OK
· Fan

1.6 Mode of operation: (Inverter operation, Bypass operation etc.) .....................................................

1.7 Alarm annunciations in the system: ALARMA: ..........................................................................

2. MECHANICAL CHECK / CLEANING

If possible, the load should be disconnected for the following items. Take the relevant safety precautions to
protect personnel and load.

2.1 Visual check of the capacitors/

discharging resistors:

2.2 If necessary, cleaning of the system:

2.3 Check for mechanical destruction

2.4 Check for corrosion

2.5 Check for overheated components

2.6 Check for loose connections and

correct inserted p.c.boards

2.7 Check for proper system earthing

2.8 Cleanness and check of the fans (refer

to individual comments in the manual)
