PERFORMANCE TASK:

You are an aspiring artist student in your school and you are also the chairman of the youth council in your
barangay. Because of your talent and skills in Arts, you were chosen by the Cebu City Mayor to represent the Visayas in
the upcoming National Art Competition under the theme of “Youth are you Proud of your Culture?” to be hosted by the
United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a patriot to your country you are going to
showcase the beautiful culture of the Philippines in the whole world that will be held in South, Korea in the next 2 months.

From the said task, you are expected to demonstrate a holistic understanding of culture and society.

GOAL Your goal is to participate in the National Art Competition to be hosted by the UNESCO.

ROLE You are the representative in the National Art Competition showcasing the beautiful culture of the
Philippines.

AUDIENCE Your audience will be the aspiring youth artist around the world.

SITUATION There is a National Art Competition to be hosted by the UNESCO, under the theme of “Youth are
you Proud of your Culture?” that will be held in South, Korea in the next 2 months. You are going to
