    microbiology tests

    1. Exception is blood cultures, which should be sent when clinically indicated. Normal laboratory working hours are
    08:00 to 20:30 Monday to Sunday.
    2. Please see website www.swlpath.nhs.uk.
    3. For all other tests, please discuss with duty microbiologist on x 5685 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday or via
    switchboard out of hours.
    4. Telephoned results must be pre-arranged with the duty biomedical scientist by calling 07825 923183.
