1. Initially Cylinder A and C are in extended and Cylinder B is in retracted positions. When we press the start button, valve1 pressed and valve 2 is switched to apply pressure to Cylinder A to extend. When cylinder A fully extended and A+ limit switch operates. This switches valve5 and causes pressure to valve6 and so apply pressure to Cylinder B to cause its piston to retract, from which limit switch B- operates. This switches valve9 and causes pressure to valve10 and so apply pressure to Cylinder C to cause its piston to extend, from which limit switch C+ operates. When the limit switch C+ operates, it switches valve3 and so caused pressure to valve4 and valve6 to switch it and so apply pressure to Cylinder B again to cause its piston to extend. Cylinder B extends, releasing limit switch B-, from which limit switch B+ operates. This switches valve7 and so caused pressure to valve8 and valve10 to switch it and so apply pressure to Cylinder C again to cause its piston to retract. Question 2
