Week 2 IFC STERILE GLOVING
Week 2 IFC STERILE GLOVING
According to what I've learned, it's a fundamental biological activity that involves the flow
of urine from the bladder via the urethra. This process is essential for keeping the body's fluid
levels in check. The process of urine in a patient may also be influenced by a wide range of
additional elements, including developmental, psychosocial, hydration and food intake,
medicine, surgical and diagnostic procedures, and so on and so forth. It is also essential to have
an understanding of the necessity of urinary catheterization, which entails placing a catheter
through the urethra and into the bladder of a patient in order to empty the bladder before or after
surgical procedures in cases when the patient has trouble passing pee normally. In order to
evaluate our level of comprehension with regard to the concepts of urination and
catheterization, we practiced the insertion and removal of an indwelling Foley catheter on a
patient. In spite of a few shortcomings, I believe that my overall performance throughout the
demonstration of the approaches associated with this talent was adequate. I would also like to
express my appreciation to Ma'am Apple Jane for the words of encouragement and support she
provided me with when I was performing. Her presence helped soothe my nervousness and
made me feel more comfortable. She also never forgets to provide additional information on
urination and catheterization, which is something that I cherish and make a point to take note of
when she does.
And in terms of sterile gloves, we need to maintain the sterile technique especially when
we are doing an invasive procedure to the patient. And also, we need to do sterile gloves as fast
as we can because when we are on a 3rd level we need this. Thank God this return
demonstration was successful and I can say that I performed it well. Soon when we are going to
hospital we need this type of assessment.
