10 STRATEGIES:

10.1 Engineering

• PO has been placed for Oily Water Package on Aug, 21, 2022 and expected to
deliver on site at August 2023

10.2 Procurement

• The LSPB Contractor shall finish PO placement for all Major materials on 24th Dec
2022 including fire foam skid.

• Revalidation of vendor quotes for all major material shall be done by LSPB contractor
prior to issue of purchase order (P.O)

• NMR-601 is planned to be submitted on 56 days after P.O award.

• The manufacturing of all major materials will start after 56 days of PO placement
condition to the approval of NMR-601.

• NMR-602 is planned to be submitted on 28 days after 601 approvals.

• Procurement activities are based on standard Saudi Aramco milestones.

• Procurement lead time is based on vendor quotation supplied by estimation and/or

Procurement department as well as Project requirement

10.3 Construction

• Construction of temporary facilities planned to be be completed on 2nd October 2022.

• Civil activities are started from 19th July 2022 and expected to be completed by 2nd
Jan 2024

• Electrical and Instrumentation activities will also continue after the work front is
opened and final termination, integrations and configuration will be completed after
the arrival of SKIDs.

• Partial Mechanical Completion OWS After the all the completion of Construction
activities.

• Final Mechanical Completion will be achieved after demolition scope is completed.

11 ASSUMPTIONS & CLARIFICATIONS:

• First issuance of Engineering package is considered on 21-March-2022.

• Total duration of Delivery of Skid is considered at 43 Weeks after PO issuance to

meet Project Schedule requirement.

• Total duration for the delivery of Fire water pump is considered as 41.

• During the construction phase Weekly Incremental Progress showing more than 3%
due to High Man-hours used in the respective Period to expedite works after delivery
of Major Equipment from April 2023. The major construction activities are from Sep-
2022 to Nov-2023.

12 RISKS:

• Increase in Delivery Lead time/Delay in delivery of major materials.

• Work permits and related delays such as work stoppage heat stress.

• Delays due to unidentified interfaces that are not reflected in existing / as-built
drawings

• Site congestion and construction interface

• Force Majeure

• Weather related issues

• Crane accessibility and mobility during the installation of major equipment.
