5 PROJECT CALENDER
The following assumptions in the Project Calendar were used in the Schedule:
5.1 Procurement
Standard Six (6) Working days at 60 hours per week/10 hours per day for all
Procurement Activities
5.2 Construction
Standard Seven (6) Working days at 60 hours per week/10 hours per day for
all Construction Activities
6.1 Procurement

7 SCHEDULE BASIS:
• In Material Requestion the priority given to MRs for LLI items for Oily Water
Systems and Bulk Materials such as Steel Sections and Pipes.
• Technical query on engineering items has taken more than expected time.
• For all major materials, Manufacturing start was kept 4 weeks in baseline
schedule while after receiving technical proposal, vendor has proposed 8 weeks
as per their previous records.
• Delivery duration for major items is based on Project Schedule Requirement and
as per vendor proposed manufacturing schedule as stated during the technical
meeting.
• Construction will start in two phases, first will be the Site Preparations which will
start after the Site Mobilization Completion and Early IFC for Civil works. Second
part will include the Piping Supports Structures and Piping installation and all
other subsequent activities.
• Second phase of the Project Construction has been started after notice to
Proceed is issued after TCF partial completion on 19- July-2022
• Sequence of activities and logic are based on the Construction scope of work
and the tentative delivery of Long Lead Items.
8 RESOURCE LOADING:
Engineering and Construction Phases are loaded with man-hours based on the man-
hours derived from the Production rate of each activity and duration. Procurement is
loaded with resource based on weight factor of each procurement steps.
9 PROJECT S-CURVE:
There are two (2) S-Curves are used in Procurement & Construction respectively
and was generated from the resource loaded schedule.

10 STRATEGIES:
10.1 Engineering
• PO has been placed for Oily Water Package on Aug, 21, 2022 and expected to
deliver on site at August 2023
10.2 Procurement
• The LSPB Contractor shall finish PO placement for all Major materials on 24th Dec
2022 including fire foam skid.
• Revalidation of vendor quotes for all major material shall be done by LSPB contractor
prior to issue of purchase order (P.O)
• The manufacturing of all major materials will start after 56 days of PO placement
condition to the approval of NMR-601.
10.3 Construction
• Civil activities are started from 19th July 2022 and expected to be completed by 2nd
Jan 2024
• All other subsequent activities will continue however all piping activities erection
activities will be carried out except for the final line/ connection toward and/or from
the SKIDs.
• Electrical and Instrumentation activities will also continue after the work front is
opened and final termination, integrations and configuration will be completed after
the arrival of SKIDs.
• Partial Mechanical Completion OWS After the all the completion of Construction
activities.
• Total duration for the delivery of Fire water pump is considered as 41.
• During the construction phase Weekly Incremental Progress showing more than 3%
due to High Man-hours used in the respective Period to expedite works after delivery
of Major Equipment from April 2023. The major construction activities are from Sep-
2022 to Nov-2023.
12 RISKS:
• Work permits and related delays such as work stoppage heat stress.
• Delays due to unidentified interfaces that are not reflected in existing / as-built
drawings
• Force Majeure
