PCAT Implementation

Therefore, it is imperative for students to be taught Unit 1 Lesson 1-11 (curriculum coverage Weeks 1-3) prior
to this activity. Use your own judgement to set aside a single class period to implement this task. This task
needs to be completed by the 14th of November.

complete this task independently and without support. It should only be completed in a classroom
setting and not to be taken home by the students.
• The teacher will go over the answers on a whiteboard / smartboard using the
BtS4_AK_EngL_PCAT1_T1 document after the activity has been completed.
• Before the end of the class, the teacher will collect the BtS4_PCAT1_T1_Worksheet1 from students.

Formative Assessment
• The teacher will provide specific and goal-oriented feedback on students PCAT 1 performance. The
teacher can use this to create supplementary materials for students who have specific knowledge gaps
and to address collective issues through informed lesson planning.
