MULTIPLE ASSESSMENT II
INTER DISCIPLINARY PROJECT
Topic: Forest Society and Colonialism (History) and Natural Vegetation and Wildlife (Geography)
1. How forest resources were classified and exploited by the colonial regime?
2. Trace the forest rules and its impact on the forest dwellers.
3. Changes that took place in java during colonial rule.
4. Why forest land was brought under cultivation?
5. The natural vegetation of India based on the geographical location and its characteristics
features and the wildlife associated with it.
Instructions:
The whole class will be divided into number of groups. Each group will have minimum 5
students. Each student will be given different topics.
Each student will do one page write up on the given topic.
Total number of pages should be between 6 and 8 for one group.
Each group will take the print out of annexure V and fill in all the required details.
Annexure V must be submitted along with the IDP by each group.

Concept maps are to be used to give visual representation to the information.
Concept maps are visual representations of information. They can take the form of charts,
graphic organizers, tables, flowcharts, Venn Diagrams, timelines, or T-charts. Concept maps
are especially useful for students who learn better visually, although they can benefit any
type of learner.
Each group will have a group leader.
The group leader will collect the work from the group members and submit the same to the
teacher incharge.
Each group will make a cover page mentioning the following:

1. Make a list of 10 prominent slogans used during general or state election campaigns
in India.
(Instructions: Use A4 size white interleaf sheet. No coloured sheets to be used.)

PART II - Topic – “DISASTER MANAGEMENT IN ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLANDS
AND LAKSHADWEEP ISLANDS”
(Instruction: Total 8 pages – 1 cover page, 1 page for index, 2 pages write up along with
pics each for Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep islands, 1 page for
bibliography and 1 page for conclusion. Use A4 size ruled interleaf white sheet only. No
coloured sheets to be used. Only blue and black ball pen/gel pen should be used for the
written work.)
