TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Mortar Mix Design When using SikaCem®-100 MP a suitable mortar mix must be designed for
the local material sources to the project specification and should be trialed.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
Recommended Dosage 0.3 - 0.7 % by weight of cement (0.15 - 0.35 L /50 kg cement).
Dosages outside of this range may be required depending on the mix
design, raw materials, climatic conditions and mortar requirements.
Trial mixes must be performed to establish the exact dosage rate required.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS ECOLOGY, HEALTH AND SAFETY

MIXING
SikaCem®-100 MP is best added to the gauging water
or simultaneously poured with it into the mixer.
If SikaCem®-100 MP is added directly to the dry mix an
increased dosage may be required.
For optimum utilization of the plasticizing action we
recommend thorough mixing at a minimum wet mix-
ing time of 2 - 3 minutes.
IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
If frozen and/or if precipitation has
occurred SikaCem®-100 MP may only be used after
thawing slowly at room temperature and intensive
mixing.
When using SikaCem®-100 MP a suitable mortar mix
must be designed for the local material sources and
should be trialed.
When accidental overdosing occurs additional air will
be entrained and the workability of the mortar in-
creased.

on laboratory tests. Actual measured data may vary
due to circumstances beyond our control.
