1. Indian golf player, Aditi Ashok clinched her fourth Ladies Open 2023 golf tournament held at
Vipingo Ladies European Tour (LET) title at the Kenya Ridge, Kenya.
2. The Sports Minister, Anurag Singh Thakur, and LG of J&K, Manoj Sinha launched the Mascot,
Theme Song, and Jersey for the 3rd edition of Khelo India Winter Games in Jammu & Kashmir.
Mascot: Snow Leopard (depicts the vibrant heritage of the Himalayas).
3. The inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 will be held in Mumbai

9. Indian shooter, Rudrankksh Patil clinched his first World Cup individual gold in the men’s 10m air
rifle event at the ISSF World Cup in Cairo, Egypt.
10. Australian women's cricket team has defeated South Africa by 9 runs to lift the ICC T20 World Cup
Trophy 2023 at Newlands, Cricket Ground in Cape Town, South Africa.
11. Manchester United defeated Newcastle to win the Carabao Cup title in 2023 after six years.
12. Indian Greco-Roman wrestler Ankit Gulia (19) won a bronze medal in the men’s 72 kg division of
the Ibrahim Moustafa ranking series in Alexandria, Egypt.
13. Madhya Pradesh women's hockey team won the 13th Hockey India Senior Women National
Championship 2023 held in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

1. President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has appointed Manuela Roka
Botey as the first female prime minister of the country.
2. Mohammad Shahabuddin Chuppu has been elected as the 22nd President of Bangladesh. He
was nominated for the post by the ruling Awami League. No other party or individual filed a
nomination for the post.
