Institutional Support & Reference Form (ISRF) serves as an integral part of the TEA
application process, aiming to provide valuable insights into the applicant's character,
qualifications, abilities, and past performance. This form validates the support of
institution for the applicant to avail the opportunity, and return back to Pakistan to
continue his/her job.
Teaching Excellence & Achievement (TEA) Program: The Teaching Excellence &
Achievement (TEA) Program provides outstanding in-service Pakistani secondary school
teachers of English Language with a six-week professional development training at a
university in the United States. The selected teachers are taken to the U.S. on an
academic exchange program to further develop expertise in their subject area, enhance
their teaching skills and English proficiency, and increase their knowledge about the
United States. Upon their return to Pakistan, they are eligible to apply for TEA Small
Grants and become members of the Pak U.S. Alumni Network. The program is fully
sponsored by the Regional English Language Office (RELO) at the U.S. Embassy in
Islamabad.
