lron Ltd., as Leader, M/s SCAW lndustries Ltd and M/s SPS Sponge lron
Ltd as Associates vide their letter no.1301613312005-CA-l dated 07.02.2006
(Copy enclosed as Annexure-2-1) jointly under option-ll to meet the coal
requirements for their sponge iron production and captive power generation,
in which these companies are engaged.

M/s TATA Sponge Ltd. have been designated as the leader company who
will take the ML on their name, make all investments, produce coal and the
production will be shared amongst the leader and the associates.
