The growth of immigration 1713 -1740

1713-the peace treaty of Utrecht was signed by British and France and Spanish
1714-government spotswood told the the board of trade that privacy was common on all the shore of Virginia.
1715-1725 - the golden age of privacy
1715- the yamasee war: three tribe join together to attack South Carolina
March 1715- “black Sam” take control on the whydah and effectively took control on the chesespake bay.
May 1717- black Sam killed in a storm and he destroyed 50 ships.
1717- Blackbeard is given the captaincy of the revenge
1717- Blackbeard captures a French slave ship and renamed queen Anne revenge
5 September 717- king George issue to try end piracy
1717-parliament passes the transportation act to reinforcing laws against piracy and death penalty

1718- Blackbeard set up a home in mouth Caroline and continues with piracy
1718- governor spotswood organic sea attacked on Blackbeard at ocracoke
November 1718- Blackbeard died.
1718- words Rodger’s take control of Nassau and restoring order and putting pirates on trial
1722-1725- dummer war: a conflict with the Abenaki tribe over land right and the high truce was defeated.
1732-James Oglethorpe founded the new colony of Georgina
1733- British government introduced the molasses act
1740- Negro act: fined planters who could not control their slaves and removed the right to grant slaves freedom and
restricted the movement of slave
1741-the New York conspiracy; fear of a slave and catholic plot to burn the city
