MRI LUMBO-SACRAL SPINE


 Partial loss of lumber lordosis.
 Anterior and posterior marginal osteophytes seen at multiple levels.
 Disc dessication is noted at multiple levels.
 The imaged portions of cord and conus medullaris are normal.
 The posterior neural arches are normal.
 No obvious pre/para vertebral or epidural collection or soft tissue mass seen.
 The para spinal musculature appears normal.
 At L3-L4 & L4-L5 level mild disc bulge causing indentation over thecal sac with
central canal stenosis.
 At L4-L5 & L5-S1 facet joint hypertrophy.
 Degenerative sterile apophysitis at multiple levels.
The bony spinal canal diameter measures
Level L1-L2 L2-L3 L3-L4 L4-L5 L5-S1
mm 13.1mm 13mm 11.4mm 11.2mm 12.8mm

IMPRESSION:-
 At L3-L4 & L4-L5 level mild disc bulge causing indentation over thecal
sac with central canal stenosis.
