Q1. Explain the jurisprudence and principles of Indian Contract Act, 1872. [250 words]

Q4. Prepare a case study for the judgement Carlill v. Carbolic Smoke Ball Co.[1893] and give
your analysis. [not more than 3 pages]
Q5. “All contracts are agreements, but all agreements are not contract”. Explain this legal
principle in the context of case study given below: -
A, a struggling artist, and B, a wealthy art collector, entered into a contract for the creation and
sale of a unique artwork. The terms of the contract stated that A would create a controversial
and explicit piece of art that violated community standards and moral norms. B, the art
collector, agreed to purchase the artwork for a substantial sum. The artwork was created as
per the contract, but it depicted highly explicit and offensive content, causing outrage and
condemnation within the community. Local authorities intervened, and A and B were facing
potential legal action for creating and promoting offensive material. Decide. [150 words]
