REXX

These manuals include information about general concepts, specific functions, and instructions about
REXX programming.

Restructured Extended Executor (REXX) is the i5/OS implementation of the Systems Application
Architecture® Procedures Language. REXX is a programming language that is supported by an
interpreter provided as part of the i5/OS licensed program.

– REXX/400 Programmer's Guide (854 KB)


This guide provides a wide-range discussion of programming with REXX. Its primary purpose is to
provide useful programming information and examples to those who are new to REXX and to provide
those who have used REXX in other computing environments with information about the REXX
implementation on i5/OS.

– REXX/400 Reference (515 KB)


This is a reference manual containing all of the IBM® REXX instructions and functions for the system.
Also included are details about general concepts you need to know in order to program in REXX.

Saving PDF files


To save a PDF on your workstation for viewing or printing:

3. Navigate to the directory in which you want to save the PDF.
4. Click Save.

Downloading Adobe Reader
