VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
2022 – 2023
TEACHING ASSISTANT, Fraser valley korean school
• I was an assistant teacher at Fraser Valley Korean School, which focuses
on helping young Korean children learn the Korean language, culture, and
history. I walked around the class to assist students who were struggling. I
also made sure that students remained focused and motivated to learn. It
was important that I talked with my students and helped them to get to
know one another during lunch and break time. It was rewarding to see the
students improve and build relationships with them.

ACTIVITIES / FUTURE GOALS

• I participated in Waterloo Math contest because math is one of the core subjects
that required on the computer programming
• I focused on developing my interests and career aspirations with the clear goal of
majoring in computer science. To improve my understanding of this field, I took
Computer Programming 11 and 12.
• Every 2 days in week, I spend 1-2 hours to study computer programming with my
father who is work as a professional programmer.

WORK EXPERIENCE
• I worked as a server at Sushi Mori, a Japanese restaurant. My main
responsibilities included taking orders from and serving food to customers. Thus,
I was required to know the menu thoroughly. This work experience taught me the
importance of being reliable and managing my time wisely. At work, I always
welcomed customers with a friendly smile and provided quality service because
my main goal was to try my best to satisfy customers and provide them with a
pleasant dining experience.
