Job Role for “Operation Officer”

 To receive, store and distribute petroleum products in Safe, reliable, complaint and cost-effective
manner by adhering to the assign SOP’s of Operation, HSSE, Quality, Quantity, Maintenance,
security & Statutory norms at Own locations.
 Ensure the product is unloaded, received, stored, and distributed as per terms of the agreement
with the Hired Terminal Operator by following clauses of signed agreement, best industry practices
and Reliance defined SOP’s.
 Adherence to the best and defined Quality & Quantity (Q&Q) practices to achieve outstanding
customer experience
 Coordination with multiple stake holders to achieve the desired results.
 Ensure induction and regular checking of Tank Truck in line with the Safety, Security & Statutory
norms.
 Ensure calibration of Tank Lorry Calibration Unit (TLCU) and Tank Trucks
 Tank Truck loading and invoicing based on the customer indents within defined time frame.
 Ensure working of automation in Own Locations to its fullest potential by following defined SOP’s
 Managing and getting work done by Officers / contract staff in line with the defines SOP’s.
 Creation of Purchase requisition and timely follow up with vendor to provide required service
/material delivery in line with the Purchase Order.
 Promptly review and creation of material GRN & Service entry. Follow-up with commercial team
for timely payment to vendor and maintenance of terminal material store.
 Familiar with the Field testing process of Petroleum product (MS/HSD)
 Maintenance of Terminal equipment with the help of Inhouse Maintenance team or through
external agency.
 Minimizing the Operation and Transit losses by correct accounting of product, analysis of daily
loss/gain and initiate corrective measures to achieve the targets. In case of losses initiate
corrective measures to reduce the same.
 Monitor and work within approved budget by implementing the effective and approved practices
for cost optimisation
 Ensure Zero customer complaints w.r.t Q&Q
 Provide regular Training to Agency staff and Tank Truck Crew

 Educational Qualification and Work Experience :


 Graduate Engineer in any discipline with minimum 3 years of experience in same
relevant industries
