“Black Curtain”
-Anonymous

The morning star is beginning to shine, Are these illusions or simply reality?
with glittering light saying the day was fine. And how could this haunt my personality?
I was woke by my thoughts last night,
that makes me quiver to hold on tight. My life is beaded with chains of sorrow,
accessories of regrets come look in the mirror.
I must prepare for my work today, Precious jewels, Oh! But where’s the shimmer?
because this is not just an ordinary day. or maybe still searching for a fake glitter.
Inside my heart were a thousand bomb,
that might just explode if you make a sound. I’m tired of pretending on being something,
count my achievements, and you’ll see nothing.
My mind was starting to read a memory, I want to show the world what’s hidden inside,
but too bad it ended with a closed journey. behind the black curtain glide it to find.
As it flashes back in my eyes I see,
Indescribable scenes flashing through me. Along with my broken dreams and horrible endings,
is my faith and courage to conquer my fears.
