Form C-2

CONTRACTOR’S BRIEF
(A) CONTRACTORS, SUB-CONTRACTORS AND WORKMEN MUST OBSERVE THE
FOLLOWING:

1. To ensure that there is adequate insurance coverage to cover third party liabilities before
commencement of work on site;

2. To liaise with the Management in advance on any requirement for temporary usage of
electricity and water supply;

3. To use only those facilities that are designated by the Management, e.g. access route
for transportation of materials, equipment, furniture, etc. for removal of debris from work
area;

4. To provide protection to the flooring at the common areas in the vicinity of work area to
prevent damage and staining of granite and tiles;

5. To dispose all debris to designated locations daily and maintain a tidy and safe area at
all times, bulky items for disposal must be taken out of the building at the end of each
work day;

6. To keep all building materials and equipment from public area. Approval from the
Management must be obtained if materials or equipment are to be stored in the work
area or in the Building’s premises and these must be securely stored;

7. To ensure all combustible materials are kept away from welding areas; no welding is
allowed outside of the unit. Unless absolutely necessary in the case of an emergency,
contractor to refer the matter to the Management.

8. To provide a minimum of one hand-held fire extinguisher for every 35 sq metres of


premises working area.

9. To keep the daily working hours between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm on each working day.
The Management must be informed and prior consent must be obtained for an extension
of the specified hours.

10. To ensure that noisy work e.g. demolition, drilling, etc are carried out only after 6:00pm
and before 8:00 am;

11. Strictly NO welding or “hot” work or any potential hazardous activities can be allowed to
be carry out in the premises unless prior written permission is given by SingaporePost
Center.

12. To wear identification badges issued by the Security Guards;

13. To submit list of workmen to the Management 3 days before commencing work;

14. To observe proper usage of all common facilities like lift, toilets, car park etc. to avoid
inconvenience to other users;

15. To immediately inform the management when staff of SingaporePost Center demand for
monetary benefit, money, fovour or gift.

(B) CONTRACTORS, SUB-CONTRACTORS AND WORKMEN ARE PROHIBITED FROM


ENGAGING IN THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES IN THE BUILDING:

1. Sleep in common areas of the building;

2. Dirty the public toilets. No contractor is allowed to wash himself in the public toilets;

3. Loiter in the work area during or after working hours;

4. Use the hose reel for any purpose except in the case of an emergency;

5. Mix cement directly on the floor. Mixing should only be done on an appropriate platform;

6. Carry out work outside designated work area;

7. Cause nuisance to tenants or shoppers in the building;

8. Gambling;

9. Fighting;

10. Swearing or using abusive language;

11. Engaging in mischief and/or vandalism;

12. Consumption of food (food must be eaten outside the building or at designated areas);

13. Smoking in prohibited areas (smoking is permitted only in designated areas);

14. Consumption of alcohol;

15. Use of drugs;

16. Writing on, drawing on, or otherwise defacing walls or other building surfaces;

17. Urination or defecation in any area other than the designated toilet;

18. Bringing or parking vehicle, including motorcycles and bicycles, into the site;

19. Sexual conduct;

20. Nudity;

21. Bringing pets or any animals, birds, etc. into the site;

22. Any conduct likely to cause a fire hazard or injury to any person;

23. Any conduct or activities that are against the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

24. Remove from premises any fixtures or facilities equipments supply for the unit.

25. Giving monetary benefit, money, fovour or gift to staff of SingaporePost Center.

Contractor Confirmation

I have read and understood the above. I also confirm receipt of the Contractor’s Brief that spells
out the Management’s guidelines for contractors working in the premises. Accompany this
confirmation is the fitting out deposit of $ by Cheque . I hereby agree and
accept to comply with the Contractor’s Briefs. I agree to the deduction to the fitting out deposit
for cost incurred for house keeping and removal of debris by the Management.
