Dear Candidate / Parent,

PEARSON EDEXCEL INTERNATIONAL ADVANCED LEVEL EXAMINATIONS – OCTOBER 2023

Please carefully go through the instructions and guidelines given below regarding entries for the
October 2023 exam series.

Duly completed Application Forms should be submitted on or before 23rd August 2023 (absolute final
date for accepting applications) with the following mandatory documents:
▪ 2 passport size photographs (1.5”x1.8”), taken within the last 3 months with the name of the
student written on the reverse.
▪ 2 copies of NIC or Passport of the student.
▪ Candidates who have taken EDEXCEL exams previously should provide copies of the previous
‘Candidate Statement of Results’ for authentication.

Important Notice:
▪ Please refer the Application Form enclosed for subject availability and details on exam fees
applicable.
▪ Exam Fees by making a direct deposit to the bank. Cheques are not accepted.
▪ Students, who have previously sat any EDEXCEL examinations, please ensure you mention
the same UCI number (Unique Candidate Identifier) and the name in the entry form.
▪ Please verify the subject units/codes you wish to enter with your respective teachers before
filling the Application Form.
▪ No further changes to entries will be allowed after the submission of Application Forms to the
Exams Office. We shall not be responsible for any errors made in your application due to your
failing to follow the subject specific instructions and guidelines. Refunds cannot be arranged
during application period or during the exam period. Please refer to the Refund Policy
document for more information.
▪ The original receipt issued to you for exam fee payments must be retained by you at all times.
▪ Late fees will apply for Application Forms submitted after the entry closing date as follows.

Late Fee 24th August to 21st September 2023 Double the Unit Fee
High Late Fee 22nd September 2023 onwards Triple the Unit Fee

• Pre-release material for candidates to study in preparation for certain exams will be posted on
the Pearson Edexcel website one month before the examination date.
• Official results release date – 18/01/2024
