TRAINING ACTIVITY DESIGN


I. Title of Activity: Campus Pasundayag ug Paugnat 2023

Schedule / Venue: September 25-27, 2023; BISU-Clarin and other Playing Venues

II. Rationale:

The spirit of athleticism transcends boundaries, uniting individuals from diverse backgrounds in a
celebration of dedication, discipline, and determination. This ethos finds its embodiment in the
Intramural Games, a grand spectacle that unites student-athletes to showcase their prowess, foster
camaraderie. and inspire the pursuit of excellence. In the year 2023, a decision that heralds a new
chapter of sportsmanship, unity, and cultural exchange right after the pandemic.

The Intramural Games have always been a testament to the power of unity and collaboration, and
the 2023 edition will be no exception. This event is usually participated among the three (3)
departments of the College of Technology and Allied Sciences (CTAS), namely: Bachelor of Science
in Hospitality Management (BSHM), Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) and Bachelor
Science in Environmental Science major in Coastal Resource Management (BSES-CRM) and the
College of Teacher Education (CTE) as one team with also two (2) departments, namely: Bachelor in
Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics (BSED-
MATH) and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics (BTLED-
HE).

Yet, this grandiose event is added flavor since the CTE will be divided into 2 based on the 2
departments. The event will not only see spirited competitions but also opportunities for participants
to learn from one another, sharing experiences and strategies that contribute to their personal growth.
Furthermore, the sense of unity fostered during the games will extend beyond the sporting arena,
leaving an indelible mark on the participants' lives as they return to their respective institutions with a
renewed sense of purpose and camaraderie.

In the same light, Bohol Island State University-Clarin Campus, through its Sports and Cultural
Activities Office, offers several physical development activities that are geared towards the
enhancement of the faculty & students' physical, social, emotional, moral and intellectual aspects.

III. Objectives:
Through the various sports events, the following objectives shall be realized:

l. Empower the students by means of sports involvement to discover and enhance such skills and
develop in them the values of teamwork, leadership and camaraderie.

2. Recognize the relevance of spons in developing the physical, social, mental, and intellectual
fitness of students, coaches and officials making them more active catalysts of change in the
country.

3. Provide several opportunities to the learners to take part in a well-managed sports competition
