Indore: Shri GS Institute of Technology (SGSITS) Incubation Forum has secured a remarkable grant of Rs8 Crore
from the central government, a move that promises substantial benefits for the students of SGSITS.

Under the Startup India Seed Fund and the Inclusive Technology Business Incubator Program, this financial
infusion Rs 5 crores and Rs3 crores respectively is expected to provide a significant boost to the students’
entrepreneurial aspirations and technological innovations.

With the influx of this substantial funding, the Incubation Forum at SGSITS will be able to support and nurture
nearly 70 new startups, creating a fertile ground for students to explore their entrepreneurial potential and
transform their ideas into tangible, marketable products. The financial aid, valid for three years, will not only
provide a financial cushion for these ventures but also offer students access to crucial mentorship and guidance
from industry experts, fostering a dynamic learning environment beyond traditional academic boundaries.

The SGSITS Incubation Forum (SIF) has already demonstrated its commitment to student welfare, having
assisted 30 startups in the past four years. Moreover, the establishment of the Idea Lab and provision of advanced
equipment and software are poised to provide students with practical, hands-on experiences, further enriching
their academic journey and equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to excel in a competitive
technological landscape. TNN
