    IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING

    Objectives:

    1. This study aims to aimed to investigate on the impact of social media in English language
    learning;
    2. to provide deeper understanding of the strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of
    the social media in English Language Learning;
    3. and explore the strategies that can be derived to maximize the use of social media in
    English Language Learning.

    Research Design:
    The interpretative method of research was used. The opinions and views of the
    participants will be synthesized using a thematic approach to discuss this research. This
    research will provide an in-depth analysis of the “how” and “why” of the impact of social
    media in English language learning.
