The document discusses the natural resources of Rajasthan, India. It acknowledges the student's chemistry teacher and others who helped with the project. It then provides details on Rajasthan's location and describes how it is a major producer of minerals like calcite, gypsum, silver, ball clay, copper ore, and others. Rajasthan has a monopoly on non-metallic minerals. In conclusion, while Rajasthan is not rich in metallic minerals, the quality of metals found there is high.

thanks of gratitude to my CHEMISTRY TEACHER who gave me the golden opportunity to do this wonderful project on the topic NATURAL RESOURCES OF RAJASTHAN .Secondly, I would also like to thank my parents and friends who helped me a lot in finalizing this project within the limited time frame. Lastly, I like to thank all my supporters who have motivated me to fulfill their project before the timeline. NATURAL RESOURCES OF RAJASTHAN
Rajasthan is located in the north-western part of
India between Latitude 23°03'-30°12' N and Longitude 69°29'- 78°17'E. It is the largest State in the country with an area of 342, 239 sq. km., encompassing about 11% of the total geographical area of the country. Almost entire production of calcite, natural gypsum and silver in the country comes from Rajasthan. The State is a major producer of ball clay, calcite, clay, copper ore/conc., feldspar, fireclay, limestone, ochre, phosphorite/rock phosphate and steatite. Rajasthan has a monopoly in Non-Metallic Minerals, while Rajasthan is not so rich in metallic minerals but the quality of metallic minerals available in the state is high. CERTIFICATE This is to certify that PRITHA DAS student of class 11th "SCI" 'A' has successfully completed her Chemistry Project on "NATURAL RESOURCES OF RAJASTHAN" under the guidance of "MR Arghyaraj Bhattacharjee" & “MR Sanjay Adhikari”.
