Candidate Pack Prepare for Your Upcoming Batch Day/Event

Virtual Events:
Please always check the Microsoft Teams link prior to your
Batch Day/Event in your confirmation email. Microsoft Teams
can be launched in a browser or installed on your device. It is
possible to join the meeting as a guest, so you do not need to
create an account. Please test that the microphone and camera
of your device are working, we highly recommend using a
headset. When you click on the meeting link, you will enter a
lobby first, until the interviewer lets you into the meeting. Make
sure to unmute yourself and turn on your camera when entering
the Interview.

On-Site Events:
Please always check the location of your Batch Day/Event in
your confirmation email and plan your journey beforehand so
that you arrive on time. If you wish to travel by car, please bear
in mind we have limited spaces and cannot guarantee a space
on the day. Please find alternative parking options nearby or
travel by public transport.
Interview Tips Here at Tesla, we would like you to have a great experience
during your Batch Day and interview process, so we have
prepared some tips to guide you:

• Please double check the date and time of the Batch Day and
ensure you are on time.
• We would like you to be as prepared as possible. Do you
remember the key requirements of the job you are in the
process for? We recommend that you re-read the job
description carefully during the preparation for the Batch Day.
Please ask your recruiter to clarify any points that are unclear
prior to the event.
• Did you know that homeowners, businesses and utilities use
Tesla energy products to reliably increase their use of
renewable energy? We encourage you to research our
products and the business area you are in the process for.
• We want you to shine on your Batch Day and share your
greatest achievements and skills. Think of specific examples
from your work experience to demonstrate the core
competencies of the job you are interviewing for.
• We are curious people, so we would like to hear all about your
experience and skills. Try to keep your answers to the point so
we can learn as much as possible in the short time we have
together.
• You have a great certification? Knowledge of a niche market?
Or just a cool hobby? Think about what you can bring to the
team and what are your unique selling points both
professionally and personally.
• Would you like to know more about the role, career
progression, team structure or future plans for the business
area growth or new products? Think of a couple of questions
you would like to ask during your Batch Day!

FAQs When will I receive feedback after the Batch Day?
Following the event, please allow us about 5 working days to
collect feedback from the interviewers and get back to you with
the outcome/next steps.

Who am I going to meet during the Batch Day?


All information regarding this will be sent to you in your
confirmation email. If you would like to receive more information
about your interviewer(s) feel free to check out their profile on
LinkedIn.

Do I need to prepare anything for the Batch Day?


This varies depending on the business group and role. Please
check with your Recruiter if there is anything specific to prepare.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code for onsite events?


We encourage our candidates to dress like our staff in order to
stay comfortable during the event process. Therefore, a suit is
not necessary; however, we ask that you wear long trousers and
closed-toed shoes for safety purposes if you will be visiting any
factory locations.

Who do I contact in case of emergency?


You can always call (and/or email) your Coordinator or Recruiter
who sent you all the details for your Batch Day.
