List of documents which can prove a level of B2 English for conditional admission

 Older TOEFL, IELTS, or similar:

o TOEFL iBT 80
o IELTS 5.5
o UNICERT II
o Cambridge English First with Grade B or C
o Cambridge English Advanced Level B2
o TELC English B2

 Transcript of Records with courses taken during a semester abroad in the US, UK, Australia, New
Zealand or Canada

 English courses during the bachelor studies at level B2 or higher with a grade above 2.5.

 Assessment of the level of English by the FAU language center or another language center which
involves a minimum of speaking and writing assessment.

 A bachelor degree in English but not from the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. For
instance, from Germany, India etc.

Please note:

German Abitur with B2 level of English is not accepted as proof.

Online assessment of your language skills is also not accepted.
