Information Sheet for Applicants

Dear Applicant,

You have been nominated to apply for the 23rd Bucerius Summer School on Global Governance
that will take place August 16 to 26, 2024 in Hamburg, Germany. The forum is organized annually
by the ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS (Hamburg, Germany) and the Karl Schlecht Stiftung (Aichtal,
Germany).

The Selection Committee will invite approximately 45 to 50 participants from across the world –
young people who work in very diverse fields including politics, government, business, civil
society, academia and the media.

The aim of the forum is to build an international network of young leaders and to foster a dialogue
on contemporary governance questions. The participants will be between 28 and 35 years of age.
They will have already acquired professional experience and exhibit promise in their respective
fields.

The programs provide a unique opportunity to interact with high-ranking figures from the political,
business and academic communities from around the world.
