Details:
The CT tube crate was redesigned several years ago using a
wheelbarrow-concept, which allows the FE to easily move the
heavy crate down a hallway using handles and wheels that are
permanently mounted on the crate. The wheelbarrow-concept
has been very effective in open areas such as receiving docks
and hallways, but in situations where a doorway or room does
not have adequate space to work with, the wheelbarrow is
awkward and sometimes too bulky when attempting to
maneuver in and out of such areas.

Resolution:
A 3-wheeled dolly has been designed to fit under the tube crate opposite of the current stationary
wheels. The dolly raises the crate high enough to ensure the blue shipping feet are clear of the
floor, thus allowing the crate to be moved on the two original wheels and on the dolly wheels. This
design makes the crate as simple to push as a department store “shopping cart”, which now
facilitates movement inside small rooms. NOTE: Dolly ships directly inside the Tube crate.
