Canvas is the primary communication for NHS, and members are expected to check in
regularly, as all members are held accountable for any information posted to Canvas.
Additionally, as this is a voluntary student organization, NHS members are expected to
advocate for themselves at all times, manage their own NHS requirements and x2VOL
account, and contact advisors directly with any questions or concerns.
Upcoming Fundraiser
NHS Trunk & Treat
We are excited to share that we are hosting a Trunk &
Treat on our campus! Please share this flyer amongst
your friends and family to attend! NHS is hosting its
first ever Trunk or Treat community event and
service project on Sunday, October 23, in the SLHS
West Gym Parking Lot to raise funds for future
programming! As part of our event, we will also be
doing a community give back collecting new socks
from those who attend to benefit the Fort Bend
Women's Center, as this is a current need with winter
approaching. We are enlisting the help of local
business, SLHS student organizations, SLHS families,
and staff to ensure the kids at our feeder elementary
schools have a SPOOKtacular time!
NHS Hoco Parade

If you’re interested in representing NHS

at today’s HOCO parade, please sign up
on x2vol! We will be handing out candy
and holding a banner. You will earn 1
VOLUNTEER hour.
October Service Project
Our service project this month
will be making food packages
for a downtown Houston
Homeless Shelter called The
Beacon. The project will be
starting soon, so if you’re
