With reference to the Philippine National Police-AVSEGROUP, Cauayan Airport Police Station joins the

nation in the observance of the 2023 Girl-Child Week Celebration in support to the National Women’s
Month on March 25-31, 2023.

2023 GIRL-CHILD WEEK CELEBRATION

The theme of the celebration is “Strong Girls, Strong World: Protecting Girls’ Rights and Well-being in
the Face of Adversity” along with the hashtag #StrongGirlsStrongWorldPH. This slogan emphasizes the
importance of empowering, protecting, snd supporting girls in order to create a stronger and more
equitable world for everyone.

The goal of this work-life advocacy campaign on adolescent pregnancy is to:

a. Increase critical awareness, public discourse, and interest in adolescent pregnancy, as well as the
available measures and social protection programs for adolescent mothers and their children.
b. Facilitate the learning and unlearning of misconceptions, outdated perceptions, attitudes, and behavior
change regarding sexual and reproductive health, adolescent mothers and fathers, and sexual and
reproductive health.
c. Encourage all levels of society to take collective action to address adolescent pregnancy.
Girls from various grades in Junior High School and Senior High School at Cauayan City National High
School – Marabulig Extension are encouraged to come up with this creative, engaging, and meaningful
activity for the celebration.
