Q.3 (i) A solid metallic sphere of the radius 10.5 cm is melted and recast into a number of cone
each of the radius 3.5 cm and the height 3 cm, Find the number of cones so formed. [4]
(ii) Calculate the ratio in which the line joining the points P (6,5) and Q (4, -3) is divided by the
line. [4]
(iii) Use a graph paper for this question. Plot the points A (3,2) and B (-3, - 2). From A and B
draw perpendiculars AM and BM on the x-axis (Take 1 cm = 1 unit on the both axes) [5]
(a) Name the image of A on reflection in the origin.
(b) Name the figure AMBN and find its area.
(c) Write the coordinate of point to which M is mapped on the reflection in the x-axis and y-axis.

Q.4(a) Mohanlal made an item in UP and sold at Rs. 10000 to Radhelal in Gujarat. If the rate
of IGST is 18% , calculate the IGST paid by central Government and the cost of item in Gujrat.

(c) In a GP 6th term is 192 and 8th term is 768, Find the 10th term. [4]
Q.7(a) A bag contain 5 white ball, 7 Red ball, 4 Black balls and 2 Blue balls. one ball is drawn at
random from the bag, what is the probability that the ball drawn is
(i) white or blue (ii) red or black (iii) neither white nor black . [3]

(b) A hemispherical tank full of water is emptied by a pipe at the rate of 37 litres per second.
How much time will it take to empty half of the tank if the diameter of this tank is 3 m. [3]

Q.9 (a) A two digit number contains the smaller of two digits in the units place. The product of
