Marriage Requirements New
MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS
1. Those who intended to get married should inform the Parish Priest at
least THREE MONTH’S prior to the marriage.
2. The following documents are required:
a. Certificate of Baptism with church stamp/seal and signature *
Name on Baptism should be same as Passport name.
b. Certificate of Confirmation(Souvenir Not Accepted)
c. Certificate of “ Freedom to Marry”* or NOC from the Parish
where the person was Baptized. Or Baptism with remarks of NO
Marriage or issued for Marriage Purpose is acceptable.
*Certificates are to be of recent issue (not older than Six months
from date of Marriage) and should be original copies. Should be
signed and stamped/sealed.
3. Should attend one of the Marriage Preparation Courses.
3rd wk-end of the month. Thur 7.30pm-9.30pm and Fri 9am to 5pm.
4. Passport/Visa copies & one passport size photograph each
5. Letter of Singleness from your Embassy/Consulate.
6. Pre-Nuptial Enquiry form and Banns Form to be filled in presence of
the Priest by taking Appointment.
7. Marriage certificate copy if Civilly Married.
8. Marriage Fee/Contribution.
