Year 7 Term 1 Assessment – Respectful Relationships
Your task is to investigate the benefits of positive relationships and
explore the skills needed to engage in relationships in respectful
ways.

In groups of 2, you will create a 1 minute video on iMovie that

demonstrates how you can show respect, empathy and
communication when your friend may be dealing with one of the
following situations:

1. They didn’t make the basketball team

2. Their pet died
3. Their parents are going through a divorce
4. They have failed an important maths test
5. They have had a fight with one of your closest friends who is
not speaking to them

You may choose how to present the information in your video. It can
be an interview, news report, role play or POV. There are many ideas
you can search online. Please make sure you add closed captions to
your video (i.e. subtitles).

A script for your video will be completed and submitted today for
your teacher to provide feedback before you begin recording your
video. *Final video must be emailed to your Health & PE teacher by
Week 6.*
