STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study focused on “Exploring the Impact of Social


Interaction on Acedemic

Performance among Grade 11 Tvl-ICT Students in Sto.


Cristo National High school.”

Specifically, it aimed to answer this following questions:

. 1.What do you think is the effect of social interaction is


it has a positively or negatively impacted your academic
performance?

2.Has social interaction increased or decreased your


self-confidence? How?

3.How do you feel after engaging in social interaction?


(scale of 1-5) Why?

4.What are the changes that happened to your


academic performances when you started interacting
with people?

5.Why do you think that social interacting has a good


or bad impact to you?

SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

This study aims to investigate the impact of social interaction


on the academic performance of Grade 11 students at Sto.
Cristo National High School. Specifically, it will examine how
time spent interacting with peers both inside and outside of
school correlates to grades, test scores, and other measures
of academic achievement.

The scope of this research is limited to Grade 11 students at


Sto. Cristo National High School who engage in social
activities with classmates and friends. Data on time spent
socializing, academic scores, and perceptions of socializing
impact will be gathered through surveys, interviews, and
review of school records.

The delimitations for this study include:

Only Grade 11 students will be included, although other


grade levels may also be affected by social interaction.
The study is limited to one school, so findings may not be
generalizable to the broader student population.
The negative and positive impacts will be explored between
social interaction and academics may exist.
The types of social interactions will be limited to in-person
and online interactions with peers, not family or community
engagement.

This study aims to provide specific insights into the student


experience at Sto. Cristo National High School. The results
may guide efforts by teachers and administrators to optimize
social engagement for academic success among these
students. The defined scope and delimitations allow for an
in-depth exploration within reasonable boundaries.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

*For Students
For them to know the effect of having good and bad
communication with people, control their self to be not
affected on anything they heard, to have
self-confidence or courage to show his true self that
can help them to be active in their studies.

*For Parents and Guardians


For them to be aware of those who talk to their
children if it is good and bad that can affect their
children's development and being aware of their own
ways of communication that can also influence their
children.

*Teachers
For them to know the importance of being
professional at work because they are one of the
examples that can influence their students and to
inspire it to work hard.

*Future Psychologist
For them to have some more knowledge about how
some students have mental defects or having
depression and stress that result for being slow
because of the people they had communicate with.

*Future Researcher
For them to get more information about the interaction
of students that may cause to affect his/her studies.
