INTRODUCTION:
Animals are living beings who share the planet with humans. They have their own
needs, preferences, and emotions, and they can experience pain and suffering just like
humans. However, many animals are subjected to various forms of discrimination,
exploitation, and abuse by humans, who often disregard their rights and interests. Is
animal discrimination a silent crisis that we can no longer ignore? This is a serious ethical
problem that affects not only the animals themselves, but also the environment, human
health, and social justice. In this paper, I will argue that we should stop discriminating
animals and treat them with respect and compassion, because animals have intrinsic
3

value, because animal abuse harms human society, because animal rights are compatible
with human rights, and because animals doesn't deserve this kind of discrimination.
BODY:
Is animal discrimination is a silent crisis that we can no longer ignore? Do we
unjustly just animals? Nowadays, we might notice in the internet that people find it
entertaining when some animals either dog or cat suffering and find it funny when
animals are hurting from pain. What do you think? Animals like dog or cats tend to be
man's bestfriend that is somebody you can tell your problems and secrets , somebody
we can lean on if we don't have real bestfriend (person) in real world. They are just
there when we need them but how come you people its easily to us abusing and
maltreating them without knowing and seeing their side that they need an owner who
can love and cared them as family too. An owner who can treat them and appreciate
them as fairly as they would be.Does abusing some animals make you happy?Do we
truly recognize their worth in our world?
Furthermore, did we even realize that wild animals like lions, tiger, and crocodiles
are becoming violent once they feel to some people the danger if they are
approaching. They think that we would like to hurt them so they becoming wild and
violent to the point that some animals hurt us too due to fear of hurting them. Did it
really came to our mind that idea that, they can be tame if we are just show them the
gentleness and calmness if we ever approach them to make them feel that we are not
afraid to them. Animals like them are kind only if we are also kind to them. Its just that a
little bit more showing them that we have good intentions to them, that we loved and
cared them too even though they are looks so dangerous to approach.
On the other hand, it is true that some people has a phobia or fear being with
animals especially to dogs and they are animals who can really kill us based on their
physical appearance and capabilities.Fear of dogs is cynophobia while ailurophobia is
fear of cats, however, the general fear of animals is called zoophobia. In addition to that,
despite their potentially harmful physical appearance, it doesn't mean they'll harm us.
No matter what their physical appearance is , they also need to be love by some people
around them. That is just their copping machinism to look scary to protect themselves
against danger. Yes, they can truly hurt us but if we provoked them first if they can feel
the danger with us. They are scary at first but they are just love their owner as much as
they love themselves, they protect their owner if they know or they sense that
something is not right just like what happened to the dogs Marshall and Millions. It is
unfair that those terrier dogs doesn't have sin to them but why would they easily shoot
them then bam they are now dead. It is not a valid reason that they are just scary then
they would suddenly kill them without a blink. They are just barking because they are
holding a gun and they are scared plus that they were protecting there homeless owner.
Shooting them without proper reason is unfair.
Yes it is okay to discipline them if they do something terrible to us but not to the
point that it would lead to their death or physical disability. Disciplining animals is
4

acceptable.Have mercy to this animals. They are just an animals but they have feelings
and heart like us too. They are not a toy for us to abuse. That if we are angry for a reason
or we have a problem in regards we directly go to some animals to punch and hurt them
to as much as we want to release our anger or stress . They don't have a sin to do that
discrimination to them.Yes, we can play with them for a good purpose like bonding with
dogs and cats to their owners or they can be our stress reliever, not in cruel ways like
torture and discrimination.
Moreover, there are times that we observed that in some particular situation that
there are animals who certainly don't want to be approached by people that when they
saw us they would easily go away from us. They are untamed. In spite of the fact that
they are untamed, it doesn't mean that they actually hurt us they are just unfriendly
and they are just not get used to blend with people , However, they still need an owner
to guide them to grow.
They are not to blame. It is us who are at fault due to our toxic mindsets about
animals. If an animal hurts someone we love, we shouldn't hurt them in return. We
must learn to accept them in our society, even if some of us are not pet lovers. Instead
of hurting them, let's learn to love them.
Hence, we can take some actions that we can protect animals and promote their
welfare, such as adopting a vegan or vegetarian diet, supporting animal rights
organizations and campaigns, educating ourselves and others about the sentience,
intelligence, and personality of animals, and demanding that our governments enact
and enforce laws and policies that protect animals from abuse, neglect, and violence,
and that recognize their legal status as persons, not property. We need to respect and
appreciate animals as sentient beings who have their own interests, emotions, and
personalities, and who deserve our compassion and kindness.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, these animals need justice for maltreatment and discrimination,
whether endangered or not. They have rights to love and care.Even though they are just
an animal for me they are like us the only difference is we are humans and they are
creatures created by God. They said that animal rights is also human rights.Let us not
ignore their cries for justice, like the Marshall and Millions issue that resulted in public
outcry and protests from animal lovers and activists.Let us not be cruel to them even if
5

they are look scary if we see, they are still our fellow beings that live with us in this
planet earth.
So, I urge you to take a stand against animal discrimination and to act on your
compassion. I urge you to remember that animals are not objects, but subjects, who
have their own lives, their own interests, and their own rights. I urge you to treat
animals as you would like to be treated, with respect and compassion. I hope I convince
you now that these animals doesn't deserve any cruelty as Mahatma Gandhi, said that
"the greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated". So,better
treat animals with care and love so that our nation can also become a better one.
