Purpose: The purpose of this project is for Wilmont’s Pharmacy to understand the capabilities and
benefits for the Pharmacy and its customers of utilizing DroneTech drone drugstore prescription and item
delivery technology. DroneTech will benefit upon the success of this project due to the large-scale media
and marketing coverage Wilmont’s Pharmacy will provide for their drone and interface delivery
technologies.

Project Goals: The project will launch a prototype for online order and delivery of prescriptions and
drugstore items by DroneTech’s four piloted flying drones from four of Wilmot’s Pharmacy locations
in the San Fransciso area (non-city environments).

DroneTech will customize existing information technologies in the form of dedicated mobile
applications and websites to manage Wilmont Pharmacy order entries and delivery information. The
online technologies will be able to interface communications about deliveries for Wilmont’s
customers.

DroneTech will work with Wilmot’s management to develop an online process for customer approval
and automatic customer confirmations. Information Security Management Team of Wilmont and
DroneTech will work together to ensure the security of the customer privacy, Wilmont business
information, and other proprietary information. Training of Wilmont’s operating team will be
provided by DroneTech for the drone delivery options of their existing delivery prototype system.

DroneTech will organize Wilmont’s resources to interface with DroneTech’s flight operations and
other management systems that control and manage the drone delivery system. The four piloted
drones will be managed with DroneTech's flight operations and other management systems that
control and manage drone delivery.

The DroneTech customization project will be funded entirely by Wilmont’s Pharmacy. The maximum
budget for the project is $750,000.00. The DrontTech customization project should start next January
5th with the first customer delivery flight no later than November 30th to avoid harsh weather.

Project Scope Description: The DroneTech customization project includes the following Scope
Elements: (all departments are of DroneTech unless otherwise specified)

Drones Operations/Engineering/Business Operations:

• DroneTech's flight operations should interface with Wilmont’s Pharmacy resources to be

capable of packaging Wilmont’s drugstore items and prescriptions for drone delivery.
• Flight operations will launch piloted drone flights based on online order entries from external
end users.
• Maintain four piloted drones, pilot schedules, and drones themselves.
• Engineering should develop a temperature-controlled product bagging system along with a
bubble‐type cushioning system for temperature sensitive items.

Company General Use

IT Department/IT will customize new mobile applications and websites specific for the Wilmont
Pharmacy.

• IT will modify and incorporate the existing enhanced online system of Wilmont Pharmacy
entries and delivery communications for Wilmont’s customers into the mobile applications
and webites.
• IT will develop an online management system that will signal flight operations based on
customer order entries.
• IT will work with Wilmont’s Pharmacy customer drone delivery restrictions and requirements
to develop an online system for customer approval flow.

Wilmont’s Change Management Team/ Wilmont’s Security Management:

• Wilmont’s Change Management Team, will assist with training and preparations for system
integration at Wilmont.
• Wilmont’s Security Management team will work with IT to not compromise the
he security of Wilmont’s business information, the customer’s privacy and the proprietary
information.

Legal Team:

Since there is no signed contract for this project, both parties will have to be involved in the project
from DroneTech and Wilmont’s Pharmacy.

Primary Deliverables:

• Four piloted drones to fulfill delivery of online pharmacy order entries to four of Wilmont’s
Pharmacies in the San Franscico area.
• A Wilmont’s Pharmacy customized mobile application/website to track pharmacy customers
order entry, delivery confirmation.
• An online system to interface with Wilmont’s ordering system to track orders and launch
drone delievery activities
• Training to Wilmont’s employees to use these new systems
• Final accounting expenditures
• Final report listing lessons learned and actual costs to complete

Deliverable Acceptance Criteria:

• The first successful drone delivery from order entry to drone delivery must be within
November 30th.
• The order entry system must interface with Wilmont’s Pharmacy interface and must include
training to Wilmont employees.
• The total amount of budget will be no larger than $750,000.00

Key Milestones:
• The first successful drone delivery from order entry to drone delivery must be within
November 30th.
• A Wilmont’s Pharmacy customized mobile application/website to track pharmacy customers
order entry, delivery confirmation.
• Successful launch of online ordering system

Company General Use

 • Training to Wilmont’s employees to use these new systems

Assumptions:
• DroneTech and Wilmont’s Pharmacy are coming to an agreement to sign a contract
• DroneTech pilots and IT department , Wilmont’s pharmacy staff are competent
• Drones are able to deliver items per federal regulations

• There is no contract for this project
