In the darkness of our closets,

we hide, shamed, afraid, and filled with pride,
For years, we try to deny,
our attraction to the same sex, we lie.

But no longer will we suffer in silence,

we're shouting with strength and resilience,
Our androgynous fate we'll no longer deny,
for now is the time to be sexually fluid, and fly.

Our bodies are worthy of celebration,

no matter the shape, form, or size,
Let the world know through proclamation,
that every body is marvelous and divine.

In all genders, colors, creeds and backgrounds,

we come together with hope and bond,
Love and be proud of who we are, loud and proud,
we are the new guard.

"Gay is too good for me," they'd say,

but we know that gender's just a display,
The power of love is greater than fear,
unique stories of each individual we will hear.

This culture of rejection will soon be gone,

once we break the grip of this homophobic song,
A brighter future will come to be,
where the beauty of sexual freedom will set us free.
From being ashamed, or living in fear,
for our sexuality, will no longer have to shed a tear,
This is our gift to the future generations,
a beacon of acceptance in many different nations.

In our skin and in our soul, let us bask in the joy of being whole,
Be proud, accepting, and love without fear,
when it comes to sexual orientation,
we have nothing to fear.
