JOINT AFFIDAVIT OF ARREST

We the UNDERSIGNED Police Officers, both members of the Philippine National Police, presently
assigned at the Police station of Magsaysay Ave, Baguio City, Benguet, do hereby depose and state
THAT:

1. We are among the members of Magsaysay Ave. Police Station who conducted the hot-

pursuit operation located at Magsaysay Ave, Baguio City, Benguet.

2. The said operation is stemmed from a call of Ms. Jessica M. Alfaro for an alleged kidnapping and
illegal detention case which is received by our station.

3. On the call dated April 22, 2022, for an alleged kidnapping and illegal detention case.

4. Upon receiving the call, our office send police officer to conduct an investigation and after a
successful investigation, the suspect was identified and our office immediately planned a hot-pursuit
operation. At about 5:00 of April 22, 2022, the undersigned together with the witness proceed to
possible place where the suspect might stayed.

5. Upon arrival thereat, luckily the suspect was present there and has been identified directly by the
witness. The undersigned together with the other police officers immediately arrested the suspect.
Informing his rights, while commencing the arrest.

6. Suspect was brought to the Municipal Police Station of Magsaysay Ave, Baguio City, Benguet
for booking and proper disposition. Likewise the arrested person was apprised for his rights as provided
for under the Constitution of the Philippines.

7. We executed this joint affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the forgoing facts and to support the
filling of the Criminal Case against PO GERARDO H. BIONG, committed the crime Hubert Jeffrey P. Webb,
Antonio "Tony Boy" Lejano, Artemio "Dong" Ventura, Michael A. Gatchalian, Hospicio "Pyke" Fernandez,
Peter Estrada, Miguel "Ging" Rodriguez, and Joey Filart PO GERARDO H. BIONG for violation of Article
267 of the Revised Penal Code (RPC), as amended by Republic Act (RA) 7659:
