PNX.IM.033.0(E) (2013.05.20) 1. OVERVIEW
PointNix Co., Ltd provides this printed User Manual as a guide for the
operation of Point 200HD, the High Definition HD Digital Panorama
manufactured by PointNix Co., Ltd. This document is designed to help the users
for better understanding of the equipment in order to obtain satisfactory results
from the use of the equipment.

Point 200HD, the High Definition HD Digital Panorama, is representing the

latest technology in X-ray Digital Panorama field. Point 200HD features superior
imaging quality, and is designed to provide the X-ray professional with an
intuitive, easy-to-use interface. It converts X-ray information directly to digital
signal to acquire high definition images for X-ray purposes. It is consisted of X-
Ray tube, High Voltage Power supply, Panorama detector assembly, Head
Position, Main frame, Control Panel, Image-taking stand, Base plate , Column,
Imaging controlling device(PC, Monitor), and CDX-View Software(Ver. 1.93).

Point 200HD is an outcome of high technology that reflects the next

generation’s needs for X-ray Digital Panorama. The use of new material called
Cadmium Telluride (CdTe) to the Panorama sensor makes this X-ray equipment
acquire clear and accurate images without having image distortion problems.
Point 200HD maintains a low radiation dosage due to its high absorptance
capacity.

1) Direction for the use

Please read carefully to prevent misoperation due to electricity damage and

electromagnetic waves.
(1) Be sure to pull the plug out the device before cleaning the device or not
using for long time.
(2) Always keep clean the device by wiping with soft and dry towel.
(3) Maintain clean and dry around X-ray room and around the device.
(4) Caution for fire from a sparkler to wood piece, sawdust, dissolve material.
(5) Do not place electric plug near hot machine or equipment.
(6) This device should be used at facility where protection equipment against
X-ray is provided.
(7) Modification by unauthorized person is prohibited. Only trained, qualified
and authorized engineers/technicians are allowed to service this device.
(8) Staff must use device in mentioned order at manual and be well-informed
of the content of manual for patient’s safety.
(9) Before use, check the device’s appearance, connected PC, connected cable
and etc.
(10) Staff must be able to communicate with patient until scanning is finished.
(11) Turn off the power when device is not using for more than 6 hours.
(12) Do not put any object over the device during the usage.
(13) Only qualified engineer is able to inspect and maintenance/repair of the
device.
(14) Please use humidity-resistance plug when the device is using outside. This
outlet for outside have to have Ground Fault Interrupter (G.F.I) function
and this type of circuit breaker prevents user’s electric shock.
