Role: Junior HR People Partner

Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job

As Junior People Partner for Supporting Functions you will play a key role in delivering a great
employee experience by being the primary point of contact for a dedicated group of
Employees for a range of key employee moments. You guide and support our employees on
all HR activities such as onboarding, (international) moves, pay, leave of absence, illness
cases, performance questions etc.

You have good expertise and knowledge of (HR) policies, labor law and processes and
therefore you provide proactive advice and make sure that HR Agenda is in line with the
business goals. You leverage a network of experts behind the scenes to make our people’s life
simpler and more effective.

You will work close to your Line Manager, the SCE People Partners Lead, who will guide and
coach you in the journey of delivering a great employee experience in Unilever.

Main accountabilities:
• Acting as first “human” point of contact for any employee query
• Delivering HR support to the Supporting Functions and ensuring HR agenda is fully
aligned with the business goals
• Supporting line managers and teams in business delivery, manage their people,
implement change, and build close relationships with key stakeholders (internal and
external)
• Proactively engages with the business about Key Employee Moments (Moments that
Matter)
• Ensuring that employee policies, practices, and programs are consistently applied
across the business
• Being involved in organizing and implementing workshops, HR (organizational)
changes, health, wellbeing & development activities for employees, enabling them to
thrive
• Responsible for activation of the HR plans in respect to learning agenda
• Driving the Equity Diversity & Inclusion agenda & initiatives

• Have minimum 3 years of relevant HR background (preferably within FMCG),
experience in HR learning will be a plus
• Have proficient and broad understanding of HR systems, policies, labor law and
processes
• Are not afraid to push back when needed but driven to deliver an excellent end – to –
end employee experience
• Understand the bigger picture but have an eye for details
• Fire up when there is a challenge but keep your cool when there are multiple priorities
or peaks in workload
• Are self-starter who is able to work independently whilst also enjoying collaborating
with your colleagues
• Are an exceptional listener
• Have a light-hearted sense of humor
